Available Homes
Question: I'm interested in leasing or purchasing a home at The Renaissance 2230. Does The Renaissance 2230 office maintain information on available homes?
Answer: No. Sales and rentals are handled by owners and/or their realtors. Rentals or sales are sometimes listed by owners in the Real Estate Listings section of The Renaissance 2230 Classifieds. Local realtors can provide listings of all available homes.
Moving In
Question: What are permitted days and hours for moves into or out of the building? How do I reserve a time? Is there a required deposit?
Answer: Move-in packet documents are available on the Online Forms page of this website. Packets must be completed and returned with the refundable elevator deposit ($500) and the move-in fee ($400) to the Management Office and then a move-in date may be scheduled. Moves are permitted Monday through Saturday from either 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Moves are not permitted on Sundays or any time before 9:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m Monday through Saturday.
Furniture/Appliance Delivery
Question: If I am expecting a furniture/appliance delivery, do I need to notify the management office? When are such deliveries permitted?
Answer: Yes. The management office must be notified and deliveries generally follow the same rules as move-ins.
Package Delivery
Question: Is there someone available during the day to sign for my deliveries?
Answer: Yes. Residents must present a Renaissance at Tysons ID to receive packages from the front desk. The front desk will not accept perishable items or certified mail.
Admitting Others to your Home in Your Absence
Question: How do I arrange for a contractor, housecleaner or others to enter my home if Im not there?
Answer: Please complete an Admittance Form and leave it with the front desk.
Club Room Reservations
Question: do I reserve the club room? What hours are they available? Is a deposit required?
Answer: Please refer to the Club Room Rules & Regulations as well as the Club Room Reservation Form.
Tennis Court Reservations
Question: How do I make a tennis court reservation?
Answer: The tennis courts are generally open for your use during the Spring/Summer months when the courts do not have the bubble overhead. However, in the Fall/Winter months when the bubble is present, the courts have limited availability. A sign-up sheet is available at the front desk.
Pool Dates and Hours
Question: When is the swimming pool available for use?
Answer: The pool is open daily for the outdoor season from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
Monday, Thursday, Friday 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The indoor pool season typically begins two weeks after Labor Day and closes in early May in preparation for the summer season.
Saturday & Sunday 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:00 pm. until 10:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday - Closed
Use of Renaissance Grills
Question: Is it necessary to reserve the grill outside the clubhouse?
Answer: No, It is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Window Repairs & Cleaning
Question: Am I responsible for repairs to my windows? What about cleaning?
Answer: No. Your windows are considered part of the common elements. The exterior of the windows are generally cleaned once or twice a year depending on condition. Balcony doors are not cleaned at this time; they are residents' responsibility.
Lock Out Service
Question: Is lock-out service available?
Answer: Lockout service may be available for residents from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday). You must have submitted a convenience key to management and you must have a Renaissance I.D. card to verify that you are the registered resident of the unit. Outside of regular office hours, this service is only available to residents who have signed an agreement (cost $10), and then only according to the terms of that agreement. We urge every unit owner to leave a key with a neighbor for this eventuality.

Question: Who do I call in case of a facilities-related emergency?
Answer: Please contact the front desk at 571.722.0900. The front desk will contact the maintenance engineer.
Personal Grills
Question: Can I use a grill on my patio/balcony?
Answer: Only if it is electric. Gas and charcoal are illegal per Fairfax County fire code.
